One killed, three injured in Bolero jeep accident

UDAYAPUR: JUNE 13 – One person has died on the spot when a Bolero jeep met with an accident on the inner dirt road of Pokharidanda in Tapli Rural Municipality-4 of the district. Three others have been seriously injured in the accident. According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, one of the four passengers of the Bolero (Ba 18 Cha 1567) was released from Lahan in Siraha at around 8 pm on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Indra Bahadur BK, 60, of Dudhauli Municipality-10, Sindhuli.

The injured have been identified as Daknarayan Shrestha, 35, of Katari Municipality-10, Jhagar Bahadur Sarki, 30, of Tapli-4 and Dambar Bahadur Tamang, 26, of Tapli-4, according to the District Police Office, Udayapur. Chief of the District Police Office, Udayapur, Bhim Prasad Dahal said that the Bolero jeep fell down 200 meters from the road after losing control on the inner dirt road of Pokharidanda in Tapli at around 8 pm on Saturday.

According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, the injured have been rushed to Katari Hospital for treatment. -RSS
