Norvic’s OPD, which was closed due to covid, will be operational from Sunday
KATHMANDU: JUNE 11 – The Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali is set to fully reopen the OPD service from next Sunday. As the infection of the second wave of COVID-19 intensified, Norvic had stopped the OPD service keeping in mind the health safety of the patients.
COVID-19 infections have been steadily declining in recent times. With the reduction in COVID-19 infection, the pressure of non-covid patients coming to the hospital for treatment has also increased, the hospital said.
As the number of COVID-19 patients is declining and the number of non-covid patients is increasing, Norvic has decided to re-operate the OPD service as per the decision of the Association of Private Health Institutions of Nepal (AFIN), an umbrella organization of private hospital operators.
According to Rajendra Bahadur Singh, Executive Director of Norvic Hospital, the OPD service will be brought into operation keeping in mind the health risks of the patients coming to the hospital.
