Five girls drowned while bathing in a pond

JANAKPURDHAM: JUNE 11 – Five girls have drowned in a pond in Dhanusha district. Five girls of Musaharnia-6 Laxmipur, the district headquarters, drowned in a pond on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Laxminiya Yadav, 12, daughter of Paltu Yadav, Chandra Kumari Bhagat, 10, daughter of Joginder Bhagat, Manju Purve, 13, daughter of Rajgir Purve, Chandani Thakur, 12, daughter of Jagarnath Thakur and Lalit Sah, 12, daughter of Utim Sah Teli, according to the District Police Office, Dhanusha.

According to the police, all the five girls drowned in the pond at around 12:30 pm. Police said that they are conducting further investigation into the incident.

The village is in mourning after five girls drowned in a pond.
