One died and another was seriously injured in a jeep accident

DOTI: JUNE 11 – One died and another was seriously injured in a jeep accident at Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-4 in Doti district. According to District Police Office, Doti, Inspector Kantiraj Joshi, a Mahindra Bolero jeep (001001 Cha 2615) carrying broiler chickens and grains from Kailali met with an accident at around 4:45 this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Hukum Shah, 50, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis-5, Kailali district. Similarly, Devi Kumari Shah, 26, of Budhiganga Municipality-8 of Bajura district was seriously injured in the accident. According to the police, they are husband and wife.

The injured is undergoing treatment at Shaileshwari Hospital in Pipalla of Dipayal and her condition is critical, said a health worker involved in the treatment. The jeep fell at least 100 meters from the road uncontrollably, police said.
