Health Minister positive to provide vaccine to filmmakers

KATHMANDU: JUNE 9 – Some time ago, the Film Development Board had demanded the government of Nepal to vaccinate 3,000 filmmakers. Meanwhile, meeting with Health and Population Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang on Wednesday morning, Board Chairman Dayaram Dahal and member Raj Katuwal have requested to provide vaccines to filmmakers.

Minister Tamang stated the brand new vaccine can be made obtainable to filmmakers inside per week as the choice was taken to vaccinate folks aged 60 to 65 from China. Raj said that the minister was positive during the meeting.

Until filmmakers working in the Nepali film industry are vaccinated, they will not be able to work safely.
