The current prohibitory order modality is ‘Loosedown’.
KATHMANDU: JUNE 8 – The government is preparing to adopt a ‘loosedown’ style by making some changes in the modalities of the prohibitory order. Preparations have been made to continue the ‘modality’ of the prohibitory order issued since April 30 after the start of the second phase of Corona infection in order to make the daily life of the people easier.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, there is a prohibitory order in 75 out of 77 districts of the country till Monday evening. In Khotang and Manang, there is no prohibitory order. A prohibitory order has been imposed in the Kathmandu Valley for the last time till June 15. Home Ministry spokesperson Janak Raj Dahal has informed that the daily life will be modified in the style of prohibition order.
“The prohibitory order will not be lifted immediately, but will be changed to a modality. The prohibitory order will continue for some time to come to make life easier,” Home Ministry spokesman Dahal told Rajdhani on Monday. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also instructed the Chief District Officers to look into the situation. The district-based DCMC will be able to take a decision based on the situation in the district.
According to Home Spokesperson Dahal, this style is being adopted on the basis of the opinion received from the Chief District Officer. The government is ready to open construction, production and agriculture under this style. After the start of the rainy season, the government is going to change the prohibitory order to ‘modality’ to open up agricultural work. However, crowded areas including schools, colleges, hotel business, party palaces and shopping malls will not be opened immediately.
Similarly, weddings, bratamand, gatherings, seminars with mass attendance and overcrowding will be banned for some time to come. The government plans to shut down public transport for some time. However, considering the situation, the government is ready to operate private vehicles from the forced system after some time. – From Rajdhani Daily
