KATHMANDU: JUNE 7 – The prohibitory order in the Kathmandu Valley has reached 40 days on Saturday.
In order to reduce the risk of Corona infection, all the three district administration offices in the Kathmandu Valley had issued a prohibitory order from midnight on April 30.
Even though people’s lives have been affected, people have remained indoors following the prohibitory order issued by the government. It has been found that the lockdown has been observed in different parts of the valley on Monday.
The traffic on the main roads of the valley is low. It is seen that only emergency service vehicles are running on the road. Vehicles in the health sector, ambulances, food items, vegetables, fruits, communications, security personnel, electricity, drinking water, banks and other sectors are operating smoothly.
Police are conducting vehicle checks at the main intersection of the main road. It is seen that the police have taken action by holding the vehicles on the road except for the emergency vehicles.
Police have tightened the check after increasing the number of people disobeying the prohibitory order issued in the Kathmandu Valley.
