Now the workshop can also be opened

KATHMANDU: JUNE 3 – The prohibitory order on the operation of department stores including grocery and food shops has been eased and now vehicle repair workshops can also be opened. The decision was taken at a joint meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur on Wednesday.

The meeting of the three chief district officers has decided to open the food grocery store, department store and vehicle repair workshop till 9 am by adding the prohibitory order till June 14. Vegetables and fruits will not be available for retail sale in the wholesale market. Local transportation will be available only after 9 pm until 9 am.

Vegetables, fruits, food, milk, dairy, meat, drinking water, gas shops, groceries, department stores and workshops will have to maintain a physical distance of at least two meters. Similarly, mandatory sanitizer system and health standards should be followed. The District Administration Office has stated that the shop can be closed if it is found during the monitoring that the health standards have not been complied with. -From Rajdhani Daily
