Monitoring at the fruit shop
KATHMANDU: JUNE 2 – The Bhaktapur Municipality under the leadership of the coordinator of the monitoring committee Raj Krishna Gora has monitored the fruit shop here today. Gora said that the monitoring was carried out as the fruits were being sold at exorbitant prices by increasing the prices arbitrarily.
In the monitoring, all the traders have been instructed to keep the shop clean, register and renew the shop, renew the scales from the Department of Weights and Measures, keep the price list, do not sell at high prices and fully comply with the health standards.
During the monitoring, 15 kg of spoiled fruits were confiscated from Kamal Binayak Esraaj Fruit Shop, 20 from Kamal Binayak Vegetable and Fruit Shop, 10 from Classic Foods Shop, 15 from Subash Fruit Shop, 18 from Harindra Fruit Shop, three from Santosh Fruit Center and five kg from SP Juice Center, said Inspector Ram Krishna Prajapati. -RSS
