Who will get the Chinese vaccine from June 8 ?

KATHMANDU: JUNE 2 – The Vero Cell vaccine against Covid-19, which has been subsidized by China, will be given to senior citizens in the age group of 60 to 64 years.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, people in the age group of 60 to 64 years across the country have been given the subsidized Vero Cell vaccine from June 8. Any government document showing citizenship or age or recommendation given by the ward office is mandatory when going to the designated center for vaccination.

The National Center for Health Education, Information and Communication under the Ministry has stated that arrangements have been made to ensure the second dose while distributing the vaccine. Out of the 1 million doses given by China for the last time, 900,000 doses were brought to Nepal on Tuesday.
