Chance of heavy rain for three days, suggest caution

KATHMANDU: JUNE 30 – The Department of Water and Meteorology has said that the monsoon will be more active from today. Monsoon as the low-pressure line is in the Terai region of Nepal, the monsoon has become active.

There is a possibility of heavy and very heavy rain in some places of State 1, State 2, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Gandaki states. The department has urged to be vigilant as the water level in rivers and streams may rise in these states.

According to the department, light to moderate rain is expected in most parts of State 1, State 2, Bagmati, and Gandaki states, and a few places in Lumbini, Karnali, and Far Western State. Currently, light to moderate rain is falling in many places of State 1, State 2, Bagmati State, and Gandaki State.
