KATHMANDU: JUNE 29 – The stock market declined by 47.49 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

By the end of the day, the NEPSE index had declined by 1.65 percent to close at 2,827.99 points.

The Sensitive Index fell by 9.87 points to 523.70 on Tuesday. Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, only the microfinance index rose, while the other 12 subgroups declined.

A total of 14 million 44 thousand 381 shares of 223 companies were bought and sold on this day, resulting in a turnover of Rs 6 billion 726.33 million 61 thousand 8 hundred 69 rupees.

Similarly, the share price of Oriental Hotels Limited has risen by 5 percent on this day. The share price adjustment of Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has increased by 4 percent.
