Weaver Birds ‘engineering’ [Photos]
KATHMANDU: JUNE 29 – Weaver Bird is also called ”Toop Chara” in some regions of Nepal. So Weaver Birds are good at building their nests. This sparrow has different regional names. It is called ‘Sujaro’ in the Terai region and ‘Chonchi’ in the hills.
The main job of a male Weaver Bird is to build a nest. They can make artistic nests with the help of beaks. Which is not only their home but also their best ‘weapon’ to the woman. The female, who watches until the male builds a nest, may not like the nest.
Weaver Birds flutter their nests in the air. Which makes them feel safe. Female Weaver Birds think a good nest should be attractive. Sometimes they even make a good nest without finding a male Weaver Bird.
