A-Division League from September 19

KATHMANDU: JUNE 28 – The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has stated that the Martyrs’ Memorial A-Division League will start from September 19. ANFA has decided to hold the competition from September 19 after discussing with the clubs on Monday.

ANFA has stated that the registration of players will start from 30 July. While the national team is preparing for the championship, these players will not be available for the A-Division League. The players of the national team will play for the club only after a clean championship.

Although the SAAF Championship was earlier scheduled for September 14 to 25, the date may be postponed. However, member states have suggested holding the competition in advance.

The division league was not possible last year due to the coronavirus. Therefore, this time ANFA has decided on A-Division league by discussing with 14 clubs on Monday.
