France will face Switzerland in the knockout stage

KATHMANDU: JUNE 28 – France will face Switzerland in the knockout stage of the ongoing Euro Cup 2020 at 12:45 am. Both teams will be aiming to reach the quarterfinals by winning the match to be played at the National Arena of Romania.

Former runners-up France are considered title contenders this time around. France is also confident of reaching the knockout stage as the winners of Group F in Group of Death. In the first match of the group stage, France defeated Germany 1-0, Hungary 1-1, and Portugal 2-2.

France coach Didier Deschamps said it would not be easy against Switzerland. He said that as they are an organized team, they will make strategy accordingly. Switzerland entered the knockout stage by becoming the third-best from Group A.

France looks strong in the last 7 games between France and Switzerland. France has won 3 games and drawn 4 games. But when Switzerland enters the field without pressure, France does not seem to be comfortable.
