Oxygen plant handed over to Shukraraj Hospital by IME Foundation
KATHMANDU: JUNE 28 – The IME Foundation has handed over equipment to Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital for setting up an oxygen production plant.
Patron of IME Foundation and Chairman of IME Group Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Managing Director of IME Group and Chairman of the Foundation Hemraj Dhakal called on the Director of Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital Dr. Sagar Rajbhandari was handed over at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Earlier, an agreement was reached between the National Business Initiative and the IME Foundation to provide equipment for setting up an oxygen production plant at Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital. Accordingly, the National Business Initiative had initiated the process of purchasing equipment for setting up an oxygen production plant.
The Foundation had provided assistance of Rs. 1,28,00,000 (Rs. 128 million) for the establishment of an Oxygen Plant. In addition, the IME Foundation has provided medical equipment worth about Rs 30 million to the Government of Nepal for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
