Peru beat Venezuela: Reached in the quarterfinals

KATHMANDU: JUNE 28 – Peru has reached the quarterfinals of Copa America. Peru reached the last eight by defeating Venezuela 1-0 in the final match of the group stage on Monday morning.

Andre Carrillo’s goal in the 48th minute of the game was decisive in Peru’s victory. Peru added 7 points in 4 games. Venezuela is in fifth place with only 2 points and is out of the competition.
