Lamp lighting in memory of Nawaraj BK [Photos]

KATHMANDU: JUNE 27 – A lamp has been lit at Jorpati in Gokarneshwor Municipality on Sunday in memory of Nawaraj BK, who was killed in Rukum last year for loving a Brahmin girl.

The program is organized under the coordination of Dalit youth activist of Jorpati and youth leader of Nepali Congress Budwaraj Risal.

Chief of Gokarneshwor Municipality Santosh Chalise, Municipal Spokesperson Manoj Dhungana, Ward Chairman Ramesh Aryal, and former President of Human Rights and Peace Society Uttam Pudasaini were present on the occasion.

Various placards related to Dalit rights were also displayed in the program.
