Collection of signatures in favor of Saraswati Pradhan [Photos]

KATHMANDU: JUNE 27 – Signatures have been collected in Kathmandu for Pradhan’s ‘justice’, saying that Saraswati Pradhan, who was accused of not renting a room to a person from the Dalit community, was trapped.

The newar community collected signatures at Hanumandhoka in the Basantapur area on Sunday. After this, signatures will be collected in Lalitpur and Kirtipur tomorrow and submitted to the concerned bodies.

They argue that Rupa Sunar has deliberately trapped Pradhan. They said that they are preparing to file a case of forgery and defamation against the goldsmith after the signatures are collected.

They claim that Rupa has deliberately trapped Pradhan as her rights in her house/property are constitutional.
