The water level rose in Melamchi and the three-storey house collapsed in the morning
KATHMANDU: JUNE 26 – Water flow in the Melamchi River of Sindhupalchowk has increased.
Locals have informed that the three-storey house of Gopal Dulal of Melamchi-11 has collapsed due to rising water levels in the river. The house was in danger after the floods on June 15. The family had left home.

The Flood Forecast Division has issued information that there is a risk of flood in various streams of the country. Today, the flow in the Narayani, Karnali, Mahakali, and its tributaries is expected to fluctuate normally, the flow in the Koshi and its tributaries will increase and some small rivers may reach emergency level due to emergency flow.
According to the Division, the river flowing through Jhapa, Sunsari, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Kathmandu, Parasi, and Nawalpur districts of Lumbini is expected to increase in some places and in some cases, there may be emergency flow.
