Confirmation of Asmita’s murder found dead in Dadeldhura
DHANGADHI: JUNE 22 – It has been confirmed that a woman was found dead in the forest in Dadeldhura was murdered. The post-mortem report has confirmed that Asmita Dhami, 26, of Jamrani Health Center in Parashuram Municipality-8 was murder.
According to Far-Western Chief Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Uttamraj Subedi, the investigation has been started on the same basis after the autopsy report confirmed the murder. Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Inspector Rajendra Bahadur Chand said that preparations are being made to send the samples collected by the doctors of Jogbuda Hospital to Kathmandu for testing.
According to him, DNA testing should be done to further investigate whether she was murdered after the rape. As per the doctor’s suggestion, the police is preparing to send the samples collected by the doctor to Kathmandu for testing.
Dhami, who went missing while going to Jogbuda Hospital on June 16 to deliver health supplies, was found dead in the local Hatwani Community Forest on Saturday. Separate teams have been mobilized from the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Area Police Office, Jogbuda, State Police Office and Federal Police Unit Office, Dhangadhi to investigate the incident.
