Training of national cricket team from today
The Nepali team will be coached by head coach Dav Whatmore.
KATHMANDU: JUNE 22 – The closed training of the Nepali national cricket team is starting from today. The training is going to start from today at the Tribhuvan University ground in Kirtipur.
Nepal is preparing to play a triangular one-day series against Scotland and Namibia in the ICC Cricket World Cup Cricket League Two in Spain. Although the competition is scheduled to take place at the end of July, the date has not been made public.
Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) has invited 20 players for closed training but Prithu Baskota will not participate in the training. He said he could not attend the training due to personal reasons. CAN has already tested the COVID-19 of 19 players participating in the training.
The Nepali team will be coached by head coach Dav Whatmore. Nepal, which played against Oman and USA in the league, is in the sixth position with 4 points in 4 games. Oman is at the top with 16 points from 10 games.
