Two die of Corona infection in Jhapa
The second wave of Corona in Shivasatakshi has so far killed eight infected people.
JHAPA: JUNE 21 – Two people from Jhapa Municipality and Shivasatakshi Municipality have died due to Corona Virus.
The deceased has been identified as a 41-year-old woman of Jhapa-4. She was admitted to Birta City Hospital in Birtamode on June 10 after she had sudden respiratory problems. While testing the Corona there, the report was positive. Relatives brought the patient home on Sunday after her health did not improve while she was being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
The family said that she died at 10:00 pm while being taken to Damak’s Lifeline Hospital for treatment after she had respiratory problems at home again.
Tanka Bimali, 61, of Shivasatakshi Ward No. 10 also died at the Birt City Hospital on Sunday due to Corona Virus. The deceased had been running a hotel business in Domukha for two decades.
The second wave of Corona in Shivasatakshi has so far killed eight infected people. Similarly, out of 358 infected people in the city, 221 have been cured and 188 active infected people are undergoing treatment, according to the city health branch.
