There is no high risk of flood in rivers and streams today.
KATHMANDU: JUNE 21 – Rain is expected in many parts of the country today, according to the Weather Forecast Division. Due to the influence of monsoon winds, heavy rains are likely in three states.
According to the weather forecast bulletin issued by the Division at 6 in the morning, light to moderate rain is likely in many parts of the country this afternoon. There is also a possibility of heavy rain with thunder in a few places in State 1, State 2 and Lumbini and heavy rain in one or two places in State 1.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many parts of the country on the same night. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder / lightning in one or two places of State No. 1, Bagmati and Far Western State
There is no high risk of flooding
Along with the ongoing rains, floods, landslides and inundation are causing disasters in different parts of the country. According to the Flood Forecast Division, there is no high risk of flood in rivers and streams today.
According to a bulletin issued by the Division this morning, the flow in Koshi, Narayani, Karnali, Mahakali and its tributaries will remain below normal despite the normal fluctuations. The department has requested the locals to be vigilant as there is a general risk of flood in 16 districts.
