NEW DELHI: JUNE 20 – The number of people infected with Corona Virus in India is decreasing day by day.
According to government officials, less than 60,000 people have been infected in the past 24 hours. This is the lowest number in 81 days, officials said.
According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 58,491 people in India have been infected with the Corona Virus in the last one day.
Similarly, another 1,576 people died in India due to Corona in the same period, the ministry said. In India, 87,917 people have been recovered with the Corona Virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry, the total number of infected people in India so far is two crore 98 lakh 81 thousand 965. Of them, 729,243 are still infected.
Despite being infected with the Corona Virus in India, the total number of people now recovered from the infection is two crore 87 lakh 66 thousand nine. So far, 96.27 percent have been recovered, officials said.
According to the Health Research Council of India, COVID-19 has been tested 39 crore 10 lakh 19 thousand 83 times till Saturday. Of them, 18 lakh 11 thousand 446 samples were tested on Saturday.
