1 million assistance to eye hospital
HETAUDA: JUNE 20 – Hetauda Sub-metropolis has handed over Rs. 1 million to Hetauda Community Eye Hospital for the purchase of eye screening machine. Today, Chief of the Sub-Metropolis Hari Bahadur Mahat handed over Rs. 1 million for the purchase of Slipland.
The amount has been given considering the lack of machines in the hospital and the patients have to wait in line since morning due to the lack of machines in the hospital, said Mahat.
Similarly, the hospital has stated that the eye test of the patients will be effective and convenient by purchasing the machine with the assistance of the sub-metropolitan government.
The hospital receives patients from Makwanpur, Bara, Parsa, Rautahat and other districts of State No. 2 and India for eye check-up. The amount has been transferred to the hospital from the annual budget of the sub-metropolis.
