Woman killed in Dadeldhura: Two teams of police including RIT mobilized
DHANGADHI: JUNE 20 – Two separate police teams have been mobilized from Dhangadhi to investigate the incident where a woman was found dead in the forest of Dadeldhura. The state police office has mobilized two police teams including the state police investigation team (RIT).
Asmita Dhami, 26, of Jamrani Health Center in Parshuram Municipality-8 was found dead in the forest on Saturday. A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxman Shahi has been deployed from the Federal Police Unit Office to investigate the incident, said Superintendent of Police Yogendra Thapa.
He said that a team of Far Western Provincial Investigation Group (RIT) has also been deployed to investigate the incident. According to him, the team has been mobilized under the command of RIT Deputy Inspector Padam Thapa. Both the teams left for Dadeldhura on Sunday morning.
The body of Dhami, who went missing while going to Jogbuda Hospital to deliver health supplies, was found in the local Hatwani Community Forest on Saturday. The body of the woman is being kept at Jogbuda Hospital for autopsy, said Mahendra Nepal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
According to the locals, she has injuries on her body but no mobile phone has been found. Police, however, said that they would know about the murder or suicide only after the post-mortem report.
