Three stranded in Mahakali River rescued

KATHMANDU: JUNE 19 – A joint security force from Nepal and India rescued three people who were stranded in the floods of Mahakali River. The security force rescued 24-year-old Rajesh Tamata, 20-year-old Ram Tamata and 29-year-old PramaTiruwa who were stranded in the middle of the river as they were returning home after grazing the cattle.
According to APF Shaileshwari Force SP Birendra Bahadur Air, Border Out Post (BOP) Gaddachauki, and Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB), India jointly rescued them.
The security force used boats to sail the stranded ones to safety.
