Covid-19 infection rate continues to decline in India

NEW DELHI: MAY 27 – India, which is in crisis due to the second wave of Corona Virus epidemic, has seen a decline in infection rates in recent days. At present, 2,419,907 people of Covid-19 are actively infected in India. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Thursday that 75,684 people had been infected with the virus in the past 24 hours. In India, the number of active infections reached a record high on May 10.

But the daily death rate has not dropped as much as expected. The ministry said in a statement on Thursday that 3,847 people had died of Covid-19 infection in the past 24 hours. Including this, 315 thousand 235 people have died in India so far due to Covid-19 infection.

In the last 24 hours, 211,298 people have been infected with corona and a total of 273.69 million people have been infected with Corona in the country so far. According to the Health Research Council of India, more than 336.9 million samples have been tested. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, a total of more than 202.6 million doses have been vaccinated in India so far. -ANI
