GlaxoSmithKline vaccine in the final stages of testing

PARIS: MAY 27 – The company said it was about to begin testing the third and final phase of the vaccine against Covid-19, developed by Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline.

Over the next few weeks, 35,000 adults from the United States, Asia, Africa and South America have been selected for the test.

According to the company, the effectiveness of the vaccine will be studied in this study. It will also study whether the vaccine can work in a new variant of Covid-19.

If the vaccine test is successful, the company is confident that the regulatory body will allow the vaccine to be used by the end of this year. -AP
