Army Assistant Brig Gen KC dies due to Covid-19

KATHMANDU: MAY 27 – Nepal Army Assistant Brigadier General Dinesh Kumar KC has died due to Corona Virus infection. KC died at the Army Hospital in the camp on Thursday morning.

According to Army Spokesperson Santosh Vallabh Poudel, KC, who was undergoing treatment at the Army Hospital in the camp, died on Thursday morning. KC was the Bahini of Lagankhel, the 13th Brigade of the Nepal Army. KC is the first high-ranking officer of the army to lose his life due to the infection.

Meanwhile, former Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri has expressed grief over KC’s death. Chhetri has mentioned that the Nepal Army has lost an invaluable member since KC’s death.
