ECAN has set up the Covid Help desk

KATHMANDU: MAY 27 – ECAN, an umbrella organization of educational consulting professionals, has set up a co-help desk. The service will be provided through the help desk by creating a relief fund of COVID-19 with the objective of providing services to the citizens who have been deprived of the opportunity of health care including the consulting consultants, employees, parents and students affected by COVID-19.

Shesh Raj Bhattarai, vice-chairman of ECAN, said that the help desk is expected to help the entrepreneurs in the current situation of Corona epidemic. He said, ‘ECAN has created a fund by mobilizing support from international donors, various universities and businesses to help the entrepreneurs affected by the second wave of COVID-19 and all those associated with it. The funds will be used for the Covid Help Desk, which will provide medical assistance.

He said that the entire team including the members of the current working committee of ECAN has been involved in this while fulfilling the role of social responsibility of ECAN. At present, the fund has been started by depositing Rs. 251,000 and plans to spend it on the corona affected people by mobilizing support from other agencies.
