Prohibitory order will be extended

KATHMANDU: MAY 25 – A meeting of the Chief District Officers of all the three districts of Kathmandu Valley is being held. A meeting is being held to discuss the need to extend the prohibitory order.

The period of prohibitory order imposed from Baisakh 16 is coming to an end on 13 of Jestha. Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli, said that the ban should be continued for some time as the infection of Covid-19 has not yet subsided. “It simply came to our notice then that an effective ban would break Corona’s chain,” he said.

According to Parajuli, the meeting will also discuss the effective implementation of the provisions made in the Covid-19 Crisis Management Ordinance issued by the government.
