Impact of cyclone in Nepal too, urging to be vigilant
KATHMANDU: MAY 25 – Nepal has also been affected by the cyclone, which has turned into a low-pressure region in the Bay of Bengal. Due to the cyclone, there is a possibility of wind, rain and snow in different parts of Nepal from today.
The low-pressure area turned into a cyclone on Monday and today turned into a very strong cyclone, according to the Meteorological Department under the Meteorological Department. In the afternoon, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in most parts of the country.
The department has requested the mountaineers to be vigilant according to the weather for a few days from Tuesday as there is a possibility of wind, snow and rain in the high mountainous areas. Light to moderate rain is expected in many parts of the country from Wednesday.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain in a few places in State No. 1, State No. 2, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini States and on Thursday in two places in Karnali and Far Western States.
