KATHMANDU: MAY 24 – The body of an American who died two years ago has been found in the Everest region. The body of Christopher John Kulish, who died on the way back from the ascent on Jestha 13, 2076 BS, was found on Saturday, according to the police.

At the time of his death, he was left in the same place due to inclement weather. According to Kavit Katwal, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, the body was brought to Camp 2 by a group of climbers returning from the spring. It is said that rescue efforts are being made from there by helicopter.

The deceased has been identified as Kulish, 61, of Passport No. 509651062. He had gone to Everest in a group of 14 people through Tag Nepal Trekking Company. -RSS
