Bagmati State’s eighth session summoned for May 30

KATHMANDU: MAY 24 – Bagmati Province Chief Bishnu Prasai has summoned the eighth session of the State Assembly. The session was called on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers held on Friday.

The State Chief has summoned the session for 3:00 pm, Sunday of May 30 as per the article 183 (1) of the constitution, according to his secretariat.

The State Government is scheduled to present its pre-budget in the very first day of the session and then policies, programmes and the budget subsequently. The constitution requires the Province Government to announce the budget on coming June 15. The government is busy in the formulation of the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, said Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Kailash Prasad Dhungel. -RSS
