Opposition parties reached Shital Niwas with the signatures of 149 MPs

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2021 – President of the main opposition Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba is going to submit a demand to the President for the appointment of the Prime Minister.

According to UCPN-M leader Leela Mani Pokhrel, Deuba is expected to present his demand for the PM’s post with the support of the UCPN-M, opposition UML and Rastriya Janamorcha.

According to Pokharel, 61 members of the Congress, 49 members of the UCPN (Maoist) (including one independent), 27 members of the opposition UML (Madhav Kumar Nepal / Jhala Nath Khanal) and one member of the Rastriya Janamorcha have signed the agreement.
