Corona death toll rises to 291,000 in India

NEW DELHI: FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2021 – The daily death toll from Corona Virus infection in India has not decreased. Another 4,209 people have died in the past 24 hours, according to the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Including this, 291,331 people have died in India due to Covid-19 infection. Since the start of the second wave of Covid-19, which is considered to be the most deadly in India, around 4,000 people have been dying of the infection daily.

The Indian variant is very lethal and the patient needs to be given oxygen immediately. Experts say more Covid-19 infections have died than the Indian government has made public.

However, no clear details have been received. The number of people infected with Covid-19 in India has decreased in the last few days. According to the ministry, 259,591 people have been newly infected in the last 24 hours and 357,295 have been cleared.

There are still 3 million 27 thousand 925 active infected patients in India. A total of 26 million 31 thousand 991 people have been found infected in India since the appearance of Covid-19 and out of them 227 million 12 thousand 735 people have been infected.

The vaccination campaign against Corona Virus was launched in India on January 16. Since then, 191.87 million doses have been vaccinated. -ANI
