Ministry of Health’s suggestion to take care of mental health in the prohibitory order
KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2021 – The Ministry of Health and Population has suggested various measures to take care of mental health in the Corona epidemic.
The National Health Education, Information and Communication Center of the Ministry has issued information on various measures of mental care, saying that mental disorders can occur while staying in the same place under the prohibitory order.
According to the ministry, regular physical exercise, yoga and meditation, participating in household chores and family discussions, playing hobbies, reading books, writing and watching creative movies will reduce mental distractions.
Similarly, eating easily digestible and nutritious food, getting enough sleep, consulting a psychiatrist or psychologist if you have difficulty managing stress, staying in regular contact with relatives and friends even when you are away, reducing the use of social media and not watching too much news and keeping your daily routine busy and active. It is mentioned in the warning notice issued by the ministry to reduce the deviation.
