Three ‘frontliner’ doctors die from Covid-19

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2021 – Three doctors have died due to Covid-19 infection.

Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari informed that Dr. Ishwor Lal Acharya, Dr. Mukesh Chaudhary and Dr. Pujyashree Karki died while working in the front line against Covid-19.

The ministry has expressed deep sorrow over the deceased doctors. So far, 5,847 people have died from the infection.
