Three arrested for murder after abduction

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2021 – Police have arrested three persons who were absconding after the abduction. Jayaram Sah, 39, Hareram Sah, 32, and Shailendra Sah, 47, of Tenuwapatti in Bariyarpatti-4 have been arrested on charge of absconding after abducting and killing Anish Kumar Singh, a resident of Sohpur in Bariyarpatti Rural Municipality-4 of Siraha.

A team from the District Police Office arrested the three fugitives while they were in hiding, said District Police Office Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Shaligram Sharma. Anish Kumar Singh, who was abducted from his house on Baisakh 29, 2075 BS, was injured and died on Jestha 1, 2076 BS while undergoing treatment. -RSS
