Violence in Burkina Faso kills 15 civilians and 12 gunmen

BURKINA FASO (WEST AFRICA): THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2021 – A group of unidentified gunmen killed at least 15 local civilians in Burkina Faso on Tuesday. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police station in the northern state of Burkina Faso.
On Tuesday, a large number of armed men opened fire on the villagers, killing 12 of them. Similarly, 12 armed men were killed in an operation carried out by the army in the northern Rael area.
They also went to the area to attack the villagers. Fifteen local villagers were killed in an attack by gunmen on the Burkina Faso’s on Tuesday.
Ethnic violence has been raging in the province for some time now, killing more than 1,000 people and displacing hundreds of thousands more. -XINHUA
