One died after slipping in the snow

BIRATNAGAR: WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2021 – A pedestrian who went trekking in Solukhumbu has died. He died in the snow while returning to the base camp at Base Camp 2 of Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality-4 of Solukhumbu.

The deceased has been identified as Pemba Tashi Sherpa, 28, of Sankhuwasabha Yaphu. According to the State Police Office, Biratnagar, Sherpa’s body was rescued by his friends and taken to Lukla by a helicopter.
