Chairman Deuba expresses grief over the demise of leader Malla

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2021 – Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the demise of Gajindra Prakash, father of Bhagwat Prakash Malla, a member of the party’s senior political assembly, general committee member and Gandaki state assembly member.

Stating that he was saddened by the news of his demise on Tuesday, Chairman Deuba expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and wished eternal peace to his soul. Malla was also a former member of the District Development Committee Syangja.

Stating that Malla has made significant contribution to the formation of the Nepali Congress and the democratic movement in Nepal, Deuba said that the party has lost a veteran personality since his demise. Malla was also active in the field of social and development. -RSS
