Woman found dead, a youth under police control

TANAHUN: WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2021 – A woman has been found dead inside her house near Parewadanda in Tanahun’s Byas Municipality-10. Manumaya Thapa, 27, was found dead in her own room on Tuesday.

The deceased’s husband is said to be in India for employment. Locals have demanded an investigation into the murder of the woman. Police have arrested a youth for investigation, said Yuvaraj Timilsina, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Tanahun. “While the incident is being investigated, more details will come after the investigation,” he said. -RSS
