Chaudhary Group and Nabil Bank setting up ICU ward and oxygen plant at Bir Hospital
KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MAY 18, 2021 – The Chaudhary Foundation will set up an ICU ward and Nabil Bank Limited will set up an oxygen plant at Veer Hospital in central Kathmandu.
On Tuesday, Nirvana Chaudhary, Vice President of the Foundation, Anil Keshari Shah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bank and P.D. An agreement in this regard has been signed between Dev Narayan Shah.
The agreement states that the Chaudhary Foundation will establish the Chaudhary Foundation. Similarly, the capacity of the oxygen plant will be 50 cubic meters per hour and construction will be completed by May.
Speaking on the occasion, NAMS Vice-Chancellor Shah said that about 200 infected people are being treated in Bir Hospital despite the capacity to treat 100 infected people.
He said that there was an acute shortage of oxygen in the hospital at present and expressed confidence that the agreement would facilitate the treatment of Corona infections.
Similarly, Nirvana Chaudhary, vice-president of the Chaudhary Foundation, said that he was always ready to help the state while battling the Corona epidemic.
Similarly, Nabil CEO Shah said that there would be no shortage of oxygen in Bir Hospital and that there would be no difficulty in the treatment of Corona infected. He also said that all the hospitals should have the necessary infrastructure for easy treatment of Corona infections.
The government has converted Bir Hospital into a central Covid treatment hospital.
