Three killed in road accident

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, MAY 17, 2021 – Two persons were killed when a truck (Na 6 Kha 4909) hit a motorcycle (Se 3 Pa 3214) on the road at Jhijhari Khola in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-9 on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Kiran JB Chaudhary, 28, and Krishna Prasad Tharu, 19, of the same village. They succumbed to deat while undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj. Police are currently searching for the absconding truck driver.

Similarly, Bimalesh Kumar Thakur, 45, of Sarlahi Godaita Municipality-8 died when his vehicle (Ba 15 Cha 6895) and a motorcycle (Pradesh 2-03-0010 Pa 4146) collided with each other on the road at Dumja in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1, Sindhuli on Sunday afternoon. .

He succumbed to death while undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital. The driver has been taken under control by the police. Police are conducting further investigation into the accident.
