The added prohibitory order is effective from today
BAITADI: MONDAY, MAY 17, 2021 – The prohibitory order in Baitadi has been implemented from today. The added prohibitory order will be effective till Jestha 17. On Sunday, Chief District Officer Rajendra Dev Pandey issued an order extending the injunction by 15 days.
Earlier, a prohibitory order was imposed in Baitadi from Baisakh 20 to Jestha 2. As per the recommendation of the meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center, the prohibitory order has been extended till 12 noon on Jestha 17.
As the number of Corona infections in the district is increasing day by day, it is said that the prohibitory order has been added for the prevention and control of the infection. During the prohibitory order, the movement of vehicles will be completely stopped and no one will be allowed to walk unnecessarily. Food and vegetable shops will be open only from 7 am to 9 am. Earlier, the decision to open the shop till 10 am has been tightened.
Similarly, it has been mentioned in the order that the banks and financial institutions should provide service for two hours only three days a week. Similarly, only pre-approved vehicles will be allowed to operate.
It has been decided to allow any construction work to be carried out on the basis of need if recommended by the concerned office head and planning head. It has been said that work should be allowed only in such projects if it is ensured that the infection will not spread while advancing the work of any development project and otherwise all development works should be stopped.
All kinds of conventions and meetings are prohibited during the period of prohibition, while marriages, fasts, funerals and other activities can be done with the participation of a small number of people in coordination with the District Administration Office. It is said that action will be taken according to the Infectious Diseases Act if anyone violates the ban. The number of active corona infections in Baitadi is 915.
