Most young people are infected from the second stage of Covid-19
INARUWA: SUNDAY, MAY 16, 2021 – As the second phase of Corona Virus infection has increased, its effects have been found to be most prevalent among the youth. According to the Health Office, Sunsari, the number of infected people is in the age group of 21 to 30 years.
According to the Health Office, Sunsari, 28.9 percent of the infected people have been infected so far. Similarly, 23.6 percent of the age group of 31 to 40 years are infected. Sagar Prasai, head of the Inaruwa Sunsari Health Office, said that 16.1 percent of the infected people are in the age group of 41 to 50 years.
He informed that 12.2 percent of the people between the ages of 19 and 60 are infected. Similarly, senior citizens between the ages of 61 and 70 have tested positive for Corona in 6.4 percent. Similarly, the age group of 71 to 80 years is 3.1 percent infected while the age group of 81 to 90 years is 1 percent and the age group above that is 0.1 percent infected, said Prasai, head of Sunsari Health Office.
Similarly, the number of children under the age of 10 infected with Corona is three percent, he said. Five point six percent of the 11- to 20-year-olds have been found infected. So far, the number of active infected people in the district is more than two thousand and the death toll has reached 40.
The Health Office, Sunsari, has urged all the residents of the district to fully comply with the health standards issued by the Government of Nepal to prevent the increasing rate of infection in the district. – RSS
