Prohibitory extended in Jhapa: Order not to leave the house


JHAPA: FRIDAY, MAY 14, 2021 – The ban has been extended for another week in Jhapa. A meeting of the District Level Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) held at the District Administration Office, Jhapa has decided to extend the ban till 12 midnight on Jestha 7.
In Jhapa, a ban was imposed for the first phase on Baisakh 19. The first phase of the prohibitory order was coming to an end at 12 o’clock tonight. Chief District Officer Shrawan Kumar Timilsina said that the ban was imposed till Jestha 7 after finding that the number of patients in Covid had increased in the district and the death rate was also high.
A meeting held on Thursday decided to close down food shops, businesses other than medicines, health items and fuel and provide home delivery service of green vegetables, fruits, milk and milk products in coordination with the local level and local chambers of commerce by 8 am.
The meeting has decided to suspend all government offices, public institutions, insurance and other offices except for the purchase of medicines and treatment. – RSS
